Introduction

This course teaches how to establish and maintain practical quality control across business operations. It covers inspection methods, measurement systems, statistical process control, and corrective action. Participants work on real process examples and leave with templates they can apply immediately. The focus is on reducing defects, lowering cost of poor quality, and meeting regulatory and customer requirements.

Objectives

1. Design and document quality control checkpoints that align with end-to-end process flows.
2. Apply statistical process control tools (control charts, capability analysis) to detect and act on variation.
3. Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions with measurable follow-up.
4. Create sampling plans and inspection procedures that balance risk, throughput, and cost.
5. Build quality KPIs and simple dashboards to monitor performance and report to stakeholders.
